The Lush Life Gallery - the visual arts jewel in the Jazz Heritage Center's jazz crown - hosts its first special exhibition with a collection of photographs, paintings and sculptures of jazz icon Miles Davis and rock-world music icon Santana, whose two-CD retrospective "Multi-Dimensional Warrior" comes out in August. The show includes rare silver gelatin photographic prints of Davis from the archives of ICON Collectibles and the estate of Jerry Stoll, and original oil paintings of Davis and Santana by Bruni, whose work hangs in the Smithsonian. Trumpeter Davis and guitarist Santana unfortunately never recorded together, so this dual show is as close as it gets to a collaboration. Free. 3-10 p.m. Wed.-Sun. through July 30. Lush Life Gallery, 1320 Fillmore St., San Francisco. (415) 255-7745, jazzheritagecenter.com.
