A Tribute to Miles Davis and Carlos Santana

The Lush Life Gallery, in partnership with Santana Management and Legacy Recordings – Sony BMG Music’s award-winning catalog division – is honoring these two music legends with a one-of-a-kind show coinciding with Davis’ birthday month (May), and Santana’s forthcoming Legacy release Multi Dimensional Warrior. The exhibit launch was also timed to coincide with Santana’s two sold out dates at The Fillmore on May 20-21.

Show highlights include original oil paintings of Miles Davis and Carlos Santana from the Jazz Master Series by world renowned portrait painter BRUNI, whose canvas of Duke Ellington hangs in the Smithsonian. Renowned sculptor Ed Dwight –is represented with mixed-media images and limited edition bronze pieces capturing Miles Davis.

The exhibition includes limited editions of rare silver gelatin prints of Miles Davis from the archives of ICON Collectibles – The Art Of Music and Sony BMG Music Entertainment, as well as images of Davis provided courtesy of the estate of Jerry Stoll and photographer Mark Brady. Carlos Santana photographs, memorabilia, artifacts and collectibles will be on display courtesy of Santana Management.
